BAMBOO MATERIAL
The compostable property of wood materials is the most reliable partner in nature's recycling resources, and the wood from nature is mild, non-stimulating and healthy for human body. However, the cycle of wood is relatively long and its economic value is slightly higher.
So we developed the application of bamboo materials. Bamboo is a fast growing plant used as an alternative to modern raw materials and wood.
Bamboo stalks remain very soft for the first few years, harden within a few years and undergo lignification. Finally they are reprocessed after harvest. They become lignified over time, providing a good material for the construction of toys. Bamboo is a sustainable raw material. It grows in most climatic zones.
BAMBOO
In the southeast of China, there are abundant bamboo resources in Beilun, Ningbo. HAPE has a large bamboo forest in the common village of Beilun in Beilun, which ensures that there are sufficient raw materials for the research, development and production of bamboo toys.
Bamboo can grow up to 30 meters in height, with a maximum center diameter of 30 cm and a thick outer wall. As one of the fastest growing plants, it can grow 1 meter every day under the best conditions! The growing culms must be solidified for about 2-4 years before they can be harvested and processed.
Bamboo is one of the livelihoods of millions of people around the world. Bamboo shoots are edible, very healthy and nutritious. The wood obtained from Bamboo Culms is very strong. For thousands of years, alomst everything in Asia has been made of bamboo, because it is ubiquitous and can be used for many different purposes. Countless jobs depend on the processing and culture of this particular industry. Bamboo stalks are usually harvested in wild natural bamboo forests without tree damage.
